What is it?

In 1984 a group of concerned citizens met with the objective of raising funds for the Blanchard Community Library. That year the first concert, art show and book auction at the Beach Ranch was held in what was to be a successful series of fundraisers. Articles of Incorporation were prepared in 1986 to establish the Blanchard Community Library Endowment which was officially signed on March 20, 1987 and directors of the endowment were selected.

What does it do?

The Board oversees the management of the funds of this 501C3 organization. Each year the Board reviews the fund’s progress and makes a contribution, based on earnings, to the library.
