The Friends of the Blanchard Community Library exists to support the Blanchard Library.  We help support programs such as the Summer Reading Program, youth programs, purchase of books and special technological or equipment needs.  The Back Stacks Bookstore is essential to our fundraising!  The more we raise, the more we can give to the Library.  Our bookstore is a major source of our fundraising, and an all- volunteer staff makes that happen.

We can always use volunteers, so get involved in 2026!  We have many jobs and no experience is required. 

WE HAVE A CURRENT NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS TO WORK IN THE BOOKSTORE DURING OUR REGULAR WEEKLY HOURS. 

Shifts are in 2-hour increments on

• Wednesdays from 12 -2 pm or 2-4 pm
• Thursday from 12 -2 pm
• Friday from 12-2 pm

We will train you and you will work with an experienced Back Stacks volunteer.  It's fun to work side by side with other book lovers and so satisfying to do something meaningful for the benefit of our local Library!
