About Blanchard Community Library
Blanchard Community Library opened in 1910 as a city library within the City of Santa Paula. In 1967, the Blanchard/Santa Paula Library District was established as an independent special district. The District is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees elected at-large to staggered four-year terms.
Located at 119 N. 8th Street, Blanchard Community Library serves the City of Santa Paula and the surrounding community. The library provides circulation services, public computers and internet access, reference services, reading and study space, and a wide range of literacy and educational programs for children, teens, and adults, including tutoring, ESL classes, computer classes, and family and youth programming.
Blanchard Community Library is a member of the Black Gold Cooperative Library System, providing patrons with access to shared collections and resources throughout California's Central Coast.
