Library Card Sign-Up Month
ALL MONTH!
Do you know someone who doesn't have a library card yet? September is the perfect time to tell them about the library! People who register for a brand-new library card will be entered into our prize raffles! We will have raffles for each age group.
Winners will be announced during the first week of October.

Tiny Art Show

Don’t miss our Tiny Art Show at Blanchard Community Library! Stop by to see a delightful display of miniature masterpieces created by community members of all ages as part of our Color Our World Summer Reading Program. Big creativity, small canvases! Franklin Haynes Marionettes Presents: Las Marionetas en Desfile!

Set to lively Mariachi and South American music, this colorful multicultural puppet show celebrates Latin traditions like Cinco de Mayo, Día de la Patria, and Día de los Muertos. Families will enjoy fun stories, music, and even learn a little Spanish along the way!


Saturday Storytime & Craft

Beginning Ukulele for TEENS
SATURDAYS, SEPTEMBER 6, 13, 20, 27 AT 11:00 AM
Ukulele classes for TEENS are coming to the library this September, and we can’t wait to make music with you. Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to brush up on your skills, these classes are for you. Space is limited, so registration is encouraged. A limited number of library ukuleles will be available. Drop-ins are welcome if you bring your own instrument. REGISTRATION NOW OPEN. Register HERE.

Join us every second Saturday of the month for LIVE POETRY! Share a poem, short work, or one of your favorites. All are welcome to simply sit and listen as well. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a 3-minute maximum per person.

Learn how to grow a California native plant garden. Learn when it's best to plant natives, their maintenance needs, and other important information about these beneficial, drought-resistant plants. Taught by a knowledgeable Certified Master Gardener, Dani Brusius.
