BLANCHARD/SANTA PAULA LIBRARY DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES VACANCY
The Board of Directors of the Blanchard /Santa Paula Library District announces that it is seeking applications from interested residents of the district who are registered voters to fill the remaining term of a vacant seat on the Board. The term runs through the end of November 2022.
Candidates should write a letter indicating their interest, their background, and their reasons for wanting to be on the Board. In addition, they will be required to submit written responses to a list of questions prepared by the Board. Applicants must provide the letter and the responses to the list of questions in a timely manner to be considered. Candidates are reminded that their letters and responses will be regarded as public documents and available to anyone requesting them. The deadline for filing is Friday, December 17, 2021.
After reviewing the letters and question responses, the Board will interview all candidates that submitted applications at an open Board meeting either at its regular meeting on December 28 or at a special meeting depending upon how many complete applications are received by the deadline.
